Insurance terms

At Xplorebike, we provide comprehensive support when purchasing your fatbike. We offer direct insurance against damage/theft, ensuring you’re prepared for any unforeseen circumstances.

From the date of purchase, you have 30 days to return the item. To be eligible for a refund of your purchase amount, the item must be in its original unopened packaging. The item must be returned to us in the condition in which you received it. Upon approval of your return, you will receive the purchase amount – any shipping costs within 14 days via the payment method you used. Electric bikes, scooters, and Onewheels cannot be returned after delivery as they are assembled per order.

If you remove the item from the packaging, we will charge a 10% ‘restock’ fee to inspect the item before we can take it back. When the item is powered on, this is stored in the software, and the item cannot be returned. Items used for repairs/electronic items cannot be returned. We apply standard shipping costs which are not refundable;

Returns must be registered first via our website. Shipping costs are at your own expense.

You are responsible for shipping the returned item to us. Once received, you will be notified and provided with proof. We will then check if it meets the return conditions.

We ship in Spain with UPS / DHL Excepted Ballarian Islands and Canarian Islands.. We also advise you to return your item via one of these carriers. Shipping costs are not refundable. Shipments are always sent to the billing address; changing the delivery address can only be done by email.

Upon purchase, you receive a standard 2-year European manufacturer’s warranty covering defects recognized by the manufacturer. The standard manufacturer’s warranty does not cover misuse, poor maintenance, accidents, or defects due to your own fault such as moisture. The battery has a 6-month manufacturer’s warranty. Repairs under warranty must always be reported to us. Electric bikes are only covered by warranty if a service check has been performed on the vehicle by us within 3 months, free of charge. If you want additional warranty, you can purchase this during checkout.

You can cancel your order until it is shipped; for this, we charge a ‘restocking fee’ of 10%. Electric bikes, scooters, and Onewheels are shipped ready to ride – an additional fee of 49€ euros is charged for this, which we do not charge if the product has not been assembled yet. Pre-orders have a fee of 10% because the products have already been ordered from the supplier.

We always use the best carriers for your region. However, it happens that a carrier is careless with a package. It is therefore important that you inspect your package carefully upon receipt before signing for it. If the box is damaged, you can refuse the delivery at the door. If this is not possible, immediately take a photo and send it to our customer service, do not open the package.

The carry-in warranty means that Fatdaddy customers are responsible for sending/emailing the defective item for repair and then picking up the repaired item themselves. If the customer chooses to send the item, there is no compensation for shipping costs, return shipping costs from Fatdaddy are always free. Always make sure to include the original invoice or receipt.
